The tool
The tool
DrivewaySim helps you draft an indicative paving quote from a photo of a real UK drive plus metres you type. Block paving, clay pavers, permeable block paving, tarmac, pattern imprinted concrete, plain concrete, resin bound, resin bonded, loose gravel, self-binding gravel, concrete flags, natural stone flags, porcelain paving, or natural stone setts. A path, patio or private apron is a separate typed area and a separate wearing line. It is not part of the drive take-up. Dig depth and compacted sub-base thickness are separate figures. Neither changes the £/m² and neither is a CBR design. A joint on block paving, slabs or natural stone setts is a statement. It does not change the £/m² and it is not a SuDS certificate. A path, patio or apron in block paving, slabs or natural stone setts has its own joint. Mortar on that area is impermeable. Other joints are not claimed permeable. The joint does not change the £/m². A sharp-sand laying course, kiln-dried jointing kilograms and a concrete haunch are allowances from typed figures. A mortar bed for slabs with mortar joints, and for porcelain, is the same kind of allowance. Natural stone setts do not use that flag bed figure. No bedding volume is calculated for setts. A tarmac bond coat is residual binder from the typed area, not litres of emulsion. A stated regulating thickness is a compacted allowance. It is not the binder course. They do not change the rate and they are not a mix design. It is software. It is not a site visit, not a survey, not a contract with your customer, and not advice on planning, highways, Building Control, or VAT.
You choose the rates, the lines, the VAT treatment, and what you send. Occupancy never selects VAT. A look on the photo is an illustrative edit. If the drive shape does not hold, the app says so. A schematic of the plan is drawn from typed metres. Visual depth and materials are illustrative where no specification is known.
The desk needs a 6-digit email sign-in. Quotes stay drafts on this device until you print, share or create a customer link yourself.
Customer paper
Your quotes
A customer-facing print, PDF, WhatsApp message, share, email or public link shows the trading name from your Company page, and the logo, phone, email and VAT number you typed. It must not show DrivewaySim or Bond Labs Limited. If you have not set a trading name, the app will not print or share. Set it on the Company page.
You are responsible for the figures, the VAT rate, and any message you send to a customer. A draft on this phone is not an offer until you make it one. Once a quote is issued or confirmed, later working-plan changes do not silently rewrite that customer paper. Use an explicit revision if the scope you send has changed.
Private notes, follow-up dates, booked work, unused rates and app branding stay off the customer sheet.
Honesty
Honesty limits
Photo metreage is indicative. Typed metres price the job. Incomplete scope or unconfirmed VAT means the final total is unknown. Resin bound is not resin bonded. Loose gravel is not resin bound and is not self-binding gravel. Pattern imprinted concrete and compacted self-binding gravel shed water. They are not a permeable certificate. A gravel grid is priced only when that line is included, and it is not a SuDS certificate. Permeable concrete block paving is not a SuDS certificate. It drains only when the joints, laying course and sub-base are open-graded. A block laying pattern does not change the price. A dropped kerb is highways consent, not this paving quote. In England, front-garden impermeable paving over 5 m² that sheds onto the highway typically needs planning permission. At 5 m² or under, that condition does not apply. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland differ. DrivewaySim never grants it.
Occupancy never selects VAT. Standard 20% is the normal occupied-home driveway. 5% and 0% apply only if you confirm a lawful basis. Not VAT-registered is not zero-rating. This app does not invent VAT from a photo or from tarmac.
Rate-book figures are starting points, not list prices and not a supplier quotation. An estimate is not a VAT invoice. DrivewaySim does not check HMRC and is not HMRC-recognised.
Photos
Photos
You must have the right to photograph the drive and to store those photos on this device. If you tap Read the photo, you ask DrivewaySim to send it once to the photo service for a read. The desk does not paint a new surface onto that photo. Do not upload photos you have no right to use.
Plus
DrivewaySim Plus
You get 2 free customer links each London calendar month. DrivewaySim Plus is £14.99 a month including VAT for 15 additional links that month. Unused monthly links do not carry over. The minimum term is one month. It renews monthly until cancelled. Local print, PDF and text sharing remain free. Daily limits on photo reads and looks also apply. If billing is unavailable, the app tells you before checkout. The subscribe control is an obligation to pay.
On the web, the card handler is Stripe. Cancel Plus on the Company page. In the Apple or Google app, pay through Apple or Google and cancel in that store's subscription settings. Cancelling does not wipe drafts on this phone. A web subscription is not an Apple or Google purchase.
The seller of the subscription is Bond Labs Limited. Company details are on About.
Cancellation
14-day cancellation
If you are a consumer, UK law may give you 14 days to cancel a distance contract for unused digital content. If you start using the desk or Plus during that period, that cooling-off right can end. You can still cancel DrivewaySim Plus for future billing periods from the Company page or from the store that sold it.

Your account on this phone
Drafts live on this device until you delete them. Optional cloud backups are private snapshots you choose to save. Restore happens only when you confirm it. Matching jobs are replaced. Jobs that exist only on this device stay. Sign-in never restores on its own.
A customer link is an immutable copy of the customer estimate. Links stop opening after 90 days and can be withdrawn on the Company page. Copies already downloaded cannot be withdrawn.
Delete account asks us to drop any account record we hold, then wipes drafts, photos, firm and rates on this phone. That cannot be undone. It does not cancel Plus. Cancel Plus on the Company page, or with Apple or Google, first if you need to.
Use
Acceptable use
Use the desk for lawful UK driveway estimates. Do not misuse the service, probe it, grant yourself Plus from this device, or use it to produce a quote you know is false. Do not upload photos you have no right to use. Do not use it to process a child's data.
Availability
Availability
We take care to keep the desk running. We do not promise a particular uptime, a particular win on a job, or that a customer will accept a quote. A failed save is shown on screen. Keep a JSON export if you need your own copy.
Liability
Liability
DrivewaySim is provided as is. Bond Labs Limited is not liable for a job you price, a rate you type, a VAT treatment you choose, or a planning or highways decision. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
